Data safety (summary)
StrikeViews is local-first. By default, trade data stays on your device. The following applies only when you opt in:
- Data collected (optional, with consent): app-settings, encrypted backup you create, and optionally a read-only broker sync you enable.
- Data shared with third parties: none, except the data provider you choose (e.g. Polygon) when you supply your own API key (BYOK).
- Security: encrypted backups use AES-256; API keys are stored in the OS secure vault.
- Account deletion: uninstalling the app removes local data; encrypted backups can be deleted in Settings → Profiles → Backup.
