Data safety (mirrors the Play Console form)

Options Owl is local-first for trading data. If the Play form and policy ever conflict, the Privacy Policy governs and we correct the form.

• Collected via the app: nickname; email address (only with email sign-in or opt-in email notifications); user IDs (device/session identifiers, OAuth IDs); photos/videos (only images you attach to a twit); app activity (posts, replies, likes, follows, in-app interactions).
• NOT collected by us: precise or approximate location; financial-account data (trades/watchlists stay on your device unless you publish them as a twit); health; contacts; calendar; SMS/call logs; audio recordings (microphone is on-device transcription only). No advertising ID, no third-party analytics, no crash-report SDK.
• Shared: hosting/storage (Cloudflare), opt-in email (Resend), OAuth provider if used, ticker-only market/news queries, consent-gated LLM context (device→provider). Encrypted in transit; never sold; never for advertising.
• Purposes: app functionality, account management, content you publish, security/moderation, communications you opt into.
• Security: HTTPS; password hashes (never plaintext); API keys in Android Keystore; encrypted backups (AES-256) you initiate.

Account deletion (in-app + web)

• In-app (fastest): Settings → Delete account → confirm. Hides the profile and posts immediately, signs the device out, and starts a 14-day reactivation window (signing back in restores everything); afterwards published twits stay under “Deleted user”.
• Web: strikeviews.com/delete-account — or email privacy@strikeviews.com from the account email. Completed within one month (usually days); backups/logs rotate within ~30–90 days.

User-generated content & safety

• 18+ only. No account needed to read; a handle is required to post.
• Reporting: every twit carries a flag button with violation categories; reports go to human moderators.
• Blocking: offered right after reporting — hides the author's posts on your device immediately.
• Enforcement: hidden (flagged) posts show the violation category; severe/repeat violations lead to suspension or permanent ban; evasion accounts are removed. Appeals: moderation@strikeviews.com.

Permissions & why

• Internet: load market data, sync your twits.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): only price/position alerts and reply notifications you configure — local and opt-in.
• Microphone: optional on-device voice dictation into your draft; no audio stored or transmitted by us.
• Photos/media: only images you explicitly pick to attach to a twit.
